With high unemployment and a dismal job market, many workers are choosing to stay in unfulfilling positions work environments instead of looking for new jobs—leading to an increase in workplace stress.
Only one in two employees find their job completely satisfying and almost one in five are dissatisfied. Number of unsatisfied workers has risen 6% from last year and 12% before the recession, a recent Gallup Poll survey reported. Job security, lack of promotion, and decrease in benefits were high on the list of issues concerning employees.
